Hi there! My name is Bao-Anh Nguyen (B.A.) I'm a currently a highschool senior living in Hanoi, Vietnam. Prior to living here, I've moved around a lot, and I've lived in Uzbekistan for the majority of my childhood. That's why I'm interested in travelling and exploring new cultures. I grew up with two!

I grew up with two loving parents and three sisters. My father is speaks Russian and Vietnamese as his first languages, and my mother only speaks Vietnamese. I am the middle child, in between one older sister and two younger (twin) sisters.
Because my friends in Uzbekistan had trouble pronouncing my Vietnamese name, “Bao Anh,” they started calling me by my initials, “B.A.” I’ve kept that nickname since Kindergarten—it feels cooler than adopting an English name because it still carries a piece of my heritage.
Today, my hobbies include writing, debating, swimming, playing Valorant, cooking Indian/Korean cuisine, watching true crime podcasts (Stephanie Soo), KDrama, retail therapy, and Rosetta Stone. (I love doing anything and everything)
Aside from things I do for fun, I am also filled with many aspirations! I plan to major in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies. I hope to be a human rights advocate in the future.
